There must be millions of cat lovers in the world all who now know my cat Pinky. i’M glad my message and Pinky has reached so many people. So you might be interested I gave Pinky a tablespoon of Vanila Ice Cream tonight it is her favorite after dinner treat. She demands a 4:00 pm feeding of cooked chicken or steak. Yes, she is a carnavore and devours the meat. She has lived far beyond the lives of most cats and it is because she sees her future and another purrfect cat day. All Cat Owners who love their cats understand the wonder of them. In cat years which is 7 years for every human year Pinky is 133 years old this year and still frisky , affectionate and demanding. She was a year old when I got her. It is hard to explain Pinky’s remarkable personality. I will miss her terribly when she passes away but, thanks to my good care and her independent strength and willpower, and Vet approved Chewey’s Science Diet for Adult Cats (Chicken Flavor) she may live another 4 or 5 years. I highly recommend it to all cat owners. One of the oldest known cats owned by a Vet lived to be 24 I hope Pinky will make it to then and maybe beyond. To all Cat Lovers around the world we know few friendships and companions are closer to us. May we always smile upon them and they smile upon us.
This is a tribute to the dearest friend I have ever had. I began practicing when I was 13 years old on my sisters Sears Robuck $30.OO guitar. This was back in the 1960s when every kid in the country learned to play guitar.. Some became famous and others not so. On my 16th birthday my father bought me a professional guitar after realizng my practice songs were as good as the ones on radio. I recall when I first saw it in its guitar case. It was beautiful. brilliant and wonderful. It was a Yamaha FG 180 it is 55 years old today and in perfect condition and perfectly tuned and priceless. When I was 16 I wrote my first song to who became my first wife. It was entitled “Lonely Day Blues.” Here are the lyrics.

A week after my 19th birthday I asked my father to drop me off on the top of Rte 1 in Maine, I had my suitcase and guitar case in my hands as I hitchhiked 600 miles from northern Maine to Harford Ct. It took only three rides of remarkable people who I thank to this day. My third and final ride was a college student returning to classes. He shared a grinder with me and drove me 100 miles to the front of the building my girlfriend later wife lived in. My guitar is sacred to me. The wonderful music it has played to many audiences and the pleasure it has given me for over 50 years. Her name is sacred never to be revealed as she will acompany me through eternity.
I Am feeling well today my bruises from the fall have healed and I was able to drive and do some weekend chores. Life is fragile and we never know when its over. I heard today that a famous photographer I knew who lived locally passed away recently at 83. We never know if we will wake up in a new day but we always hope to. I Am grateful to God for another painless day and a mind, heart and soul full of hope and a future of happiness. It is all we can hope for and imagine that carries us into another day. May all my readers feel that happiness and hope for a new day and today.
Everyone has a fear of falling and injury. As we age our fears are greater for injury and can be debilitating. I recently unexpectedly fell and bruised myself, it wasn’t a doctor or hospital worthy fall but one that hurt my pride more than anything. If we are healthy and over 70 we are proud of our longevity and lack of pain or injury, there is some vanity involved until we take a fall. In my case I tripped over a carpet as I rose from my recliner. Falling can take on physical as well as mental failure such as being careless, or in the case of Trump falling and failing are disasterous and have disasterous ramifications on people around him and all whose failed decisions are affected by them. When I think of the ramifications of my recent fall and failures I Am grateful no one else was affected by them. I will always have a fear of falling as do most people but, I have learned not to make the same mistake and be more careful where I step. Wisdom comes with age, injury and failure, I hope I Am a wiser man today because of what I have experienced. Unfortunately so many people and world leaders do not learn or become wiser but, continue to fall and fail until they can no longer rise.

It has always been a pleasure to turn on my desk lamp at this odd hour after 2:20 AM and indulge in creative thoughts or further my Ascension Vision. Artificial lamp light is as effective as sunlight or moonlight more intimate and less overwhelming. All reading this tonight are reading by lamplight. When you have done all you possibly can to revive a mariage, business, partnership, friendship, love relationships or family feud we must give up and move on to bigger and better hopes and dreams with better planning, prayer and faith, to make our hopes hopeful, and our dreams come true putting the power of Heaven to fuel our faith in the achievement and manifestation of our greatest dreams and desires. Yes, never disbelieve in yourself or your dreams as they are you, who you are and what your future will be. Your dreams are you and if they benefit Mankind they will benefit you however, if what you desire is revenge, hatred or worse then you have no future unless it is prison or death.
So hope onward and upward and your present and future will manfifest into your desired dreams. See the sun and moon each day as a symbol of Heavenly Hope whose light shines on everyone if we open our eyes to see it.
It is 1:04 PM on the hottest day of the year in Connecticut with temperature already over 100 degrees. I have taken a different strategy this year coping with the excessive heat and remain as cool and calm as possible by taking on nothing stressful or anxiety building, avoiding crowded stores or waiting in line at a gas station, training my attention to pleasant thoughts, like my thankfulness for airconditioning. My phone is muted and I noticed fewer spam calls today. One appreciated message I recieved from my publishing agent encouraging the completion of my new book.
I welcome all to try and enjoy the day out of the raging heat and burning sun and just chill if you can and know one more day of this awful heat wave is coming tomorrow as well. A plunge in a lake or ocean is cool until you come out and gasp for air and sweat. One more day this week and temperatures return to something normal in the 70s and 80s.

ii was a hot day in Salisbury today. The afternoon became blistering in the 90s I kept comfortable in the 70s and my cats were most happy all day. I can’t thank God enough for Mankind progressing technologically to develop Air Conditioning on a retail platform around the country and planet. it is saving lives throughout the country. Tomorrow weather forecasts predict 100 degrees in North West Connecticut a nightmare for the rest of the week for all without A/C.

1:06 AM hope all are well. I AM pleased tonight as I made it through another day. It was an odd day but it had its merits. As I age I do slow down and get somewhat forgetful but I had other issues on my mind 50 years ago and forgot things then. In the Fall and Winter of life all things change. Priorities change, people change, friends change or leave and move away. Spouses pass away, family members also. We are pushed into solitude which becomes times of soul searching. As we age past our 60s and 70s we often reflect on our past life with amusement or sorrow. We become targets for scammers who bait us with prizes, relationships, friendships. One of the biggest scams recently is the Afordable Care Act. A pure rip off for the elderly. I noticed there are no more television ads promoting these fraudulent insurance companies. As we get older every crook and scammer is out to get us and steal our life savings. If I were a violent man I would deal with these fraudsters differently but, as a man who prefers peace and prayer I ask God to protect me and alert me to all criminals who seem to be multiplying and plaguing the world today. Keep safe my friends and stay well and know if something seems too good to be true it is a fraud.
Hope is an awakened dream. It is a pure spirit we live with and continuously are guided by throughout the day and night. Having faith in the best things to come are what our lives strive to become. Welcome my After Midnight Friends. It is 3:10 AM as I write this post. I have noticed over the past few weeks there are more After Midnight Friends joining me from around the world. I thank all of you for your late night interest. There is one constant thought I have all day long and remains persistent in the late night hours. It is the hope and prayer of living another day. I awake happy every morning that another night has passed and look forward to another day of activity and creativity. As a writer and photographer and artist I become enthused with my work at all hours of the day. Late night seems to be my most creative time but the day involves thoughts of productivity, organization, business contacts, trips to the post office, grocery store, city dump, etc. all daily duties that make me move into an organized day and keep my world from falling into chaos. I Am certain everyone reading this tonight or today may be going through the same motions and thought of another day. Let us all be thankful that we may recieve another day to live in a good way. I see only peace, love, prosperity and hope for the new day to come. I wish all my readers the same, may all your After Midnight Thoughts be pleasant and may you rest well.
