Today it began to snow at 9:AM and hasn’t stopped yet at 2:PM. We have accumulated 5 to 6 inches of fresh snow to our once still green lawns. It is a great change from our Thanks Giving weather and even yesterday was bright and sunny. The First December Snow is always the least expected on the 2nd of December. Most Americans wish for a White Christmas but dread days of bad weather at the beginning of December that botches up traffic, stops daily errands, and early Christmas Shopping. Having lived in this area for 25 years, I Am used to the weather patterns but this year the snow came earlier than usual I only pray we don’t get the 15 or 20 inches of snow expected this week in the MidWestern States.
All has been well today in a warm home, my two cats are well fed and happy with a few extra treats but, disappointed as they look out the windows and see only gray skies and white snow falling heavily. I wish everyone around the world a better day of weather and happiness and good wishes for the World Wide Celebration of Christmas. May God Bless All with warmth, shelter, food, and Human Kindness during this Christmas Season and let it carry over for all of next year.
