We all have a history in memories we enjoy and some memories we prefer to forget. As I mature I find myself forgeting so many things I once remembered. I believe it is a blessing of age to rid our minds of all we don’t want to remember. Friends and soul relationships are never forgotten. An old memory came to me recently of playing on the beach with my brothers on my family’s lake front cottage as a young boy. So many happy summers where spent there with the love of family. One fatal day my youngest brother drowned while swimming with friends, he was only 14 years old and the youngest of my family. I will never forget him or the love I felt for him. Youngest brothers have a special place in our heart. I don’t know why I thought of him tonight at this odd hour of 2:30 AM but some sleepless nights bring about old memories. I Am grateful to have this picture to share of my brother and to write of Peter’s life and memory to share with the world.

Welcome all my After Midnight Friends I Am overwhelmed by my webstats tonight with so many thousands of visitors these few hours after Easter. I attended a church service for Easter Sunday at one of the oldests churches in the U.S. in Salisbury, Ct It is a 280 year old Congregational Church this year and celebrated its 280th Easter. Remarkable! The church was completely full and the choir in the balcony sang so heavenly it was truely a spritual event. CHRIST CROSSING THE UNIVERSE

Today is Good Friday for all who celebrate it as the forerunner to Easter and the Resurrection of Christ. All my life growing up under Christian influences I have always questioned this day and why it is called Good Friday. There is nothing good to be celebrated on this day. The first evangelical was crucified, died and buried on this day over 2000 years ago and the world of Christianity celebrates the most barberic government authorized murder in history. This brutal tale of crucifiction of a prophet of God (claiming to be his Son) is horrific. For it to be glorified this day throughout history is one of the most bizarre stories in the world. All Christians kneel before the altar of death of their “God” and yet pronounce their love and brotherhood of their fellow men and women. How they can elect a Hitlerite President like Trump is beyond the pale of rational thinking. Hatred, madness and murder prevail throughout the world and especially in America.

Let the Resurrection of Christ be seen as hope but, why should we honor his horrific death calling it Good Friday. For all who have wondered about this as well we could be excommunicated. I have no fear of that since I haven’t belonged to any church or established religion in 50 years. I believe in the one great God who created the Universe. I believe we all have the freedom to talk to him and worship him without a crucified medium. Christ was a great revolutionary who sacrificed his life for the sake of Humanity, however let him be the only one to be so brutally sacrificed and yet forgive all who murdered him.

A MIRACLE MORNING

Today I awoke from a good night’s sleep to a sunlight sky and green lawns. Today the Spring Temperature will be in the mid 60s with a light breeze. Yesterday was a perfect weather day of 67 degrrees no breeze and a warm sun. I actually took my daily walk in shirt sleeves no coat or hat. Today may be even better. It is a miracle to have beautiful Spring days like this in the North West Corner, which often faces the coldest weather for the State of Connecticut. On a miracle morning like this one I believe is a wonderful sign surrounding my 5th Dimensional Ascension. I Am happy starting off this beautiful sunfilled early Spring day. I offer my readers a few stunning signs of Spring and hope everyone enjoys the following pictures and the miraculous beauty of beautiful Spring days.

Some thoughts become creations and some become the fires that cause the actions we take to run or hide or face the flames of hatred or pain or penaties. I prefer to face the flames of afterfires of explosive thoughts. All the worst dreams are the fires of rememberances I face and put out the fires with cold indifference, as they no longer mean anything to my present or future. I dance in the afterfires of my thoughts with a music of a Divine Melody. They become vague and clouded over by forgetfulness and meaninglessness. I have lived through it and I Am better for it. To be scorched by the flames of sorrow, anger, hatred or distress teaches us to wear fire proof mindsets and concentrate only on beauty, joy and peace for our lives.

THE PLAGUE OF OBESITY

Over the past few years I have noticed a surge in obesity in many local towns in Connecticut. It is a problem throughout the country. Two years ago I attended a state fair and was overwhelmed when I noticed hundreds o people on the Midway were obese and where happily eating various Fair Foods high in fat and sodium. Out of all these seemingly contented people only one stood out as a mid twenty year old woman who appeared anorexic. Everyone else had large pot bellies or very large buttocks it was a memorable vision. A year ago I visited a local bookstore in a neigboring town when I was overwhelmed by the attendent behind the counter. He was a mountain of a man in his late 30s or earlly 40s at least 6ft.5 but he had to have been over 400 pounds. His large body barely fit behind the counter. Recently I read about two thousand pound sisters taken from their home for weight loss treatment. I have always feared gaining excessive weight and have tried hard to stay within reason and waist size.

I had to laugh recently after Donald Trump’s recent physical it was announced that he is the heaviest President in over 100 years. The only President heavier was Howard Taft who weighed 332 pounds. Trump’s persona has done nothing to inspire weight loss in America, and is seen eating Fast Foods as his favorite meal. Heart attacks are the number 1 cause of deaths in America. You would think that DOGE and Elon Musk would concentrate greater efforts at reducing the fat intake of American foods, instead trying to reduce the Fat in vital government agencies.

THE MEASUREMENT OF SOBRIETY

One drink or two, one hit or two, one lover or two, one God or none. We must all decide on limits as lust will lead to ruin, drunkeness will lead to accidents or worse, drugs will lead to addiction and possible death. The highway to sobriety is disapline. One drink won’t kill you, one lustful affair may lead to madness or divorce, one or two tokes of a fine pot will put you right but, too many will make you stupid or unconscious. I have learned to measure sobriety and once we understand our limitations we can be happy, healthy and enjoy the vices and virtues in limited moderation which is the key to longevity. Know your limitations in all things and trust in your honest measure of sobriety. Be well, be careful, be honest, and above all know what is good for you and what is dangerous or bad. Be always aware not to fall in the wells of addictions and drown.
