Today is a day of pouring rain lasting all night and morning. It is almost noon here and my two cats are very quiet today shying away from the windows as the rain falls against them. I have a reception to go to tonight but the forecast says rain all day. Fortunately the reception will be nearby and inside. Yesterday was sunny and in the high 70s a great day for a walk in shirt sleeves. Rainy days are needed for the Spring flowers which are planted everywhere in town. Tomorrow is supposed to be a better day. I thank the rain for watering the earth and look forward to a sunny day tomorrow to see all the beautiful Spring flowers in full bloom.
