Bullet Sherwood was a great man, loved by his family and friends and known statewide for his involvement with the VFW and Veteran Groups and the lead marcher in the Salisbury Memorial Parade each year. To the surprise and sorrow of everyone who knew him, he passed away on May 30th, 2019. He will be greatly missed by the people of Salisbury and remembered for his sense of humor, friendship, generosity, and as a longtime volunteer fireman. Bullet was a lifetime resident of Salisbury and one of the town’s most well known and honored citizens. I took this picture of Bullet at the Salisbury October Festival in 2017, as he directed the busy main street traffic.
