Sunday morning mass was facinating this week as the Reverand asked for prayers for the Palestinians and all people suffering from war, genocide and famine. It was a larger congregration this week than usual but the heads of all were bowed in prayer for all who needed it. To witness this common communion with the souls of the world’s suffering people ensures that at least 100 prayers were sent out to the world and all who needed them. These prayers insure that all in dire struggles in wars and starvation have friends who are praying for them though they are anonymous. It is this type of generic concern for the world that reaches God’s attention and directs his will to create peace and plenty for all suffering.
