In the lost world of Humanity’s demise it seems impossible for any good news to offset the bad when the bad news is so abhorant. Mass murders, child abuse and horrible child murders by parents. Teen girls sex traffiked by gangs in major cities, overdoses and suicide rates skyrocketing from illegal drugs. Prisons and shelters are overflowing with homeless men and women, child care and adoption agencies are overburdened with homeless referrals. That is in the U.S alone, other countries are facing starvation and genocide as the horrific events in Palestine and other countries.
The great Saint Francis of Asisi wrote his famous prayer to all Humanity and I will quote it here to inspire believers throughout the world.
“O, Lord, make me an instrument of your Peace. Where there is Hatred, let me show Love. Where there is Injury…Pardon. Where there is Doubt… Faith. Where there is Despair …Hope. Where there is Darkness…Light. Where there is Sadness…Joy.
“O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be Consoled as to Console; to be Understood as to Understand; to be Loved as to Love. For it is in Giving that we Receive. It is in Pardoning that we are Pardoned; and in Dying that we are born to Eternal Life.”
