Our spirit casts a shadow in sunlight and moonlight. Where ever we are our shadow is with us we are never alone. As a child I enjoyed my shadow and gave it a name. He was my imaginary friend but seeing my shadow made him real to me. His name was Charlie I spoke of him before on this website. He was the same height I was. I can remember my childhood memories of Charlie he was always a friend when I needed one. As I grew up and entered adulthood I realized after many years of ignoring Charlie that he was always there with me every night in the lamplight and everyday in the sunlight. I understood that Charlie was God granting me friendship, encouragment and love. Self Love becomes an important awakening once we are able to sit back and see our accomplishments and realize God was with us all along, weither we paid attention to him or not. When we were friends my life was joyful when I ignored him my life became chaos and casualty. Believe in the existence of your Spirit for it is linked to God our Creator. Be friends with it, be aware of it, and above all be grateful for it.
