Welcome all my After Midnight Friends. Sorry you’re awake at this hour, but at least you are not alone. I woke from a strange dream tonight of fading images of unfamiliar faces and furniture in an odd room I had never been in before. It made me wonder what this dream meant as I floated in this strange dimension only to wake up with the meaning unresolved. Dreams have meanings but they are not always understood and simply fade away and forgotten. I prefer this dream fades away and is forgotten as so many are. Yes, it is after midnight again and I am awake. I can’t kick this and haven’t in years been able to sleep the entire night. I realize it is a symtom of being who I Am. Everyone else in the world who has an After Midnight Awakening understands the annoyance of it, but tries to use it and do something constructive or productive. I have a few favorite books that put me in the right mood but I don’t feel like reading tonight. Oddly the Bible isn’t one of them. Biblical tales are so over used, they become church sermons and collection plate motivators. Some are wonderful but I Am not a repeat reader of scripture. I tend to remember the great stories and move on in my spritual life.
